The perfect location of our hotel offers a wide range of hiking options. Explore the mountains Lusen (1373m) or Rachel (1453m), discover the magic side of our endless forests, and let yourself electrify by the awesome views.

Just a few kilometres from our hotel you will find yourself in the middle of Germany’s oldest national park. A place where lynxes, bears and wolves are still part of the forest. The National Park Bavarian Forest edified a wonderful area with numerous spaciously compounds where these wild animals can be observed by nature lovers. With a little luck you might see one of them. The Hans-Eisemann Haus, information centre in Neuschönau, should give you answers to all open questions about our park. Moreover, you are welcome to visit their great exhibitions.

Winter at the National Park Bavarian Forest

You can design your own individual and manifold winter holiday at the Nationalpark Bavarian Forest.

Very close to our house you will find an excellent offer of winter sports. A cross-country ski track runs right next to our hotel (ca. 100 m away)! It is part of a wide net (ca. 25 km) of cross-country ski tracks, and has a connection to two of our local ski lifts for alpine skiing. The letter ones are perfectly for beginners as well as for advanced learners!
